I used to give my coins to the lady at the local fruit stand, she would count it and exchange it for me. She stopped doing that for me because it was a pain-in-the-ass.

Also, I have taken it to 711's given it to them come back after a couple of days, they count it, and give me the cash. Maybe they're not given me an honest deal, maybe they're skimming a little off the top. But I like to think its fair. Now I my wife just spends it.

You could just take the teners and spend them and give the rest to charity.

American I presume? Or at least North American? I have seen advertised personal wifi for rent but I dont know anybody who has used it.

If your phone does not have room for another SIM or your SIM is not removable you will need to get another phone. You can buy cheap phones everywhere. I have bought a couple and had nightmares. If I were in your situation I would buy a cheap phone at a reputable phone place (AIS).

AIS is your best phone service provide, second is DTAC, in my experience.

Some phones may support eSim, which I am not too familiar. Basically, an eSIM allows you to register your phone with a local provider without having a SIM. However, I dont' know of your phone support that. I think AIS does support it.

I just did a marriage visa. I hired an agent. It wasn't too expensive but I guess I could have done it without an agent. Two problems doing it on your own, there is a BUNCH of paperwork at the has to be filled out at different government agencies. I think some paperwork has to be done at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and I am not sure how you would do that on Koh Samui. No doubt people do but I don't know how. The second issue, from what I understand is that it can take a couple of months to complete.

I am not sure if there is a lot of difference between Marriage visa and Dependency visa. I think the dependency visa will require your name is on the birth certificate or that you've gone to court to have paperwork that states your the father.

No better place than Thailand to do that. It's impressive however, all of this is uncle Sam's fault. LIke he made Putin invade Ukraine? He made Australia and EU into thoughtless puppets?

There is no one root cause but Covid was a big factor and everybody knows that is a a Chinese ploy to take over the world.

Not for nothing, but I think have a good attitude with immigration officers will go a long way. "Sorry I didn't know", "Thailand is the best place ever", "I am not come long time, I come many time".
