Hello all,

I will be coming back to Thailand on a standard Visa Arrival Visa from America. I then plan to apply for a Non Immigrant OA visa.

My question is this, Since I am starting with a Visa arrival, is going to be a problem that I am bringing a lot of items that are what a person would be bringing to plan on moving. And no return flight. Is this going to be an issue with immigration?

Question: I'm visiting Thailand beginning of 2025 on a visa exempt..planning to stay 1-2 months, after which I want to fly to another Asian country and spend there one week before returning to Thailand for another couple of weeks (so another visa exempt).

Could this possibly be problematic upon flying back to Thailand? I've heard stories that entering Thailand twice a year on a visa exempt is not always granted anymore since the introduction of the DTV.

HELP! I fly today USA-Bkk w/Taipei layover. BUT my Non-0 90 Day Single Entry VISA approval made online thru LA Consulate didn’t make it in time. So now I’m arriving on 60 Day Visa Exempt. People on this thread recommend overland border run or quick flight out/in to activate the Non 0 Visa in a few days when hopefully visa approval does land in my inbox. Will Immigration be understanding and accepting of the legit explanation for why my Port of Entry no longer lines up with the specific flight # and arrival airline that was indicated on my Non 0 Visa application? Or do they normally just see a Visa and stamp it without further details needed? Just trying to find out least-friction way to activate my late arriving approval of Non 0 Visa, thanks!

Can i get a re entry permit on a visa exempt (60 days)

This is as a back up plan incase DTV application is rejected. Ive spent 4 years + in thailand and would find it difficiult to get in again + probably not accepted for Tourist visa

Also if even if i could get a re entry permit with visa exempt, could i still cancel/replace it with DTV visa when I re enter?

Hello guys, previously, I entered and exited Thailand and obtained a 2-month tourist visa for the second time. Now, I want to extend it again to travel more, but the only option I know about is annual language schools. Is there any other solution for 3-6 months?

Hi there, from SA, we arrive in May and get stamped in on a 60day visa exempt, after abt 59days,we want to go to Cambodia for abt 3 or 4 days, then come back, will we get stamped in for another 60days? Or has that changed? As I am busy booking our flights from SA&back, dont want to make a mistake. We come over every year, but only do 90days, but thought with the new rule,we can do the 60+60. Thx,would appreciate your help. Carmen

Can I have two visa applications going at once?

I submitted my New York application about 8 business days ago, it got pending approval after 1 day. It's for a business I own so I'm iffy about getting approved, I read that NY can take up to 30 days and I'd like to get to Thailand asap but don't want to mess up by leaving the country pending a visa.

I read that Taipei is more efficient with their visa process, if I go to Taipei and apply there instead, will there be any issues if I apply for the DTV there while my NY DTV is pending? Anyone have experience with this?
