sorry Wayne, I'm a little dense. Being stamped.out in CR and then free to wander in BKK was weird and so now I'm no longer confident. It doesn't matter- I'm just wondering about it while I wait for take off.

ugh. On my last trip I decided to post a bunch of stuff and USPS freaking LOST 4 boxes for two months. Almost a thousand in shipping not even counting the items. Approved me to file a claim that would pay back like 10% of the value... Then suddenly two showed up in Thailand and two at the return address. Better outcome than a total loss, but super stressful and ultimately only 50% successful.

a couple entries ago I had a lady on a bad day. She chewed me up one side and down the other. She was preparing to turn me around when the supervisor came over to see what was wrong. She spoke a bunch of Thai- smacked me passport a couple times along with some point... The guy told her there was no problem and to let me through. After she stamped me, as I walked away, she yelled "don't stay so long next time!" It was absolutely bonkers. I am just afraid if I get some post office massacre waiting to happen officer again and I've got the black stamp it will push them over the edge. Shrug. Worst case I swim the river. :)
