I am also often slow to adopt to the new ways. I think this area of the internet initially added a lot of value and made things easier. But now that most of the world is dependant on it they are making it shittier and shittier. Increasing cost and subtracting options.

I've heard some have trouble with the annual renewal and I gather Chang Rai is one of the worst. But I'll burn that bridge when I get there.

It looks like some people are able to get the second notarisation (?) At passport offices. But the story is not very clear

do you think it is possible that when I said late at night or early morning I meant from say about 11pm to 6am?

I am being told by other agent types you can actually get the stamp at other government offices. It does seem weird that every foreigner marriage involves a face to face at that one location (other than through agents). I've also been told now you can do it by post.
