I read a story about a farang guy and thai wife. She wanted a divorce and he wouldn't agree. She hired a hit man and the guy ended up in the hospital. The 3 culprits, wife, hit man, and wife's best friend ended up in jail.
But there may have been more to the story, like division of assets or something.
I have heard getting into the US can be a pain. Canada? Mexico? I am American and don't really see the appeal of going to the US. We have mass shootings and Disneyland. Other places of Disneyland
You can always try. This question comes up from time to time. One of our members said they were a US citizen, applied for visa while in Turkey from embassy in US.
In the US I went to the local town hall, or whatever the city building is called and had the print out a statement that said I had no open cases.
Over the years I've had a few arrests but not in that town or state. I imagine all you need is an official looking document that says you have nothing.
Pattaya sent me away and told me come back day before expired. They have also extend early in the past so I consider Pattaya a crap-shoot. Probably doesn't help I had extensive visa history.
