I get yelled at, twice. Once at BKK airport and once at the Lao border. Both times it was because I had goofy paperwork.
BKK, I had a 90 day Non-B visa, I think, I left for India and gotten a reentry permit. Not so strange but usually people extend their non-b for a year, and I had not. Its off-topic conversation but basically the original IO thought my paperwork looked strange.
Lao border, I went cross the border had lunch and came back. I did not use an agent. When coming back through to thailand I didn't know if I need photo copies or other paper work. I ask the photo copy person and they told me go ask in the office. The office walked me out to the supervisor, and they yelled at me. Kinda nice though, I didn't have to wait in line to get my stamp.
Both times the supervisor talked to me, they both suggested I get a marriage visa. One supervisor was male the other female. I am suggesting you tell them are looking for a mail order bride, just that you are a decent guy looking to maybe settle down.
I am still unmarried- you don't have to get married.
I have been yelled at by supervisors at immigration. Once at BKK. My recommendation, be very respectful, don't get an attitude.. "Thank you for let me come your beautify country". " I don't live here but I like it here so much". " I hope I can find nice Thai wife".. Just be respectful. You will probably be fine.
