What are the recent changes in ownership and moderation for this Bangkok expat group?

I'm sure a few of you have noticed that there has been a change in ownership of this group (similar to the changes that happened to Thai visa advice )

FEW THINGS TO NOTE

• Moderation remains mostly the same

• We will direct our general clients to this group as we see it as a good destination group due to the "and everything else" in the name 😊.

• Our sister company is the AQ.in.th booking platform which many have used to enter the country.

Hopefully we have a few people in this group which can vouch for us, as we have been around for quite some time as a visa agency, and now a booking platform.

TLDR : Answer Summary
There has been a change in ownership of a Facebook group that serves as a resource for expats, similar to previous changes made with Thai visa advice platforms. The moderation of the group will remain largely unchanged, and the group is seen as a beneficial destination for general clients. The sister company, AQ.in.th, which is a booking platform used for entering the country, has been positively recognized by users. However, some members expressed concerns about one visa agency acquiring various popular independent Thai visa groups on Facebook.

Maybe . I don't know because I never use agents , but there has to be a commercial reason when they spend money to buy Facebook groups.

The advice comes from a groups members.

Also the existing moderation team remains intact.

Most of the questions in these groups are DIY visa related questions which should not involve an agent, or lawyer.
