In Thailand the vehicle is insured, not the driver. You'd have to read the vehicles policy to see if it limits the insurance companies liability if the driver is unlicensed.

You can only extend an entry 1 time. You'll have to leave and come back in.

There's no such thing as an international drivers license.

-No, you can obtain a Thai license at any DLT, but you need a certificate of residency and immigration only issues those in their own province (Bangkok won't issue you a CoR with a Chiang Mai address).

Hey Mike, E visa is just the application route, so applying for a tourist visa online (which is 60 days.)

45 day visa exempt entry can be extended 1 time at an immigration office for an additional 30 days for 1900 baht. Most offices want tm30s.
