You'll have to pay tax on the value of the goods.

The ones that get approved right away gets approved by the automated system. If you upload everything correctly, that's how it should work. Otherwise, someone has to manually review the documents.

Just leave yourself enough time, shouldn't be a issue if you have everything.

No problem mate. If you trust your wife, honestly I'd just leave it in her name. Selling a vehicle registers to a foriegner is a bit if a pain too depending on the DLT office. Chiang Mai DLT requires the foriegner to be present, have a valid visa, AND have a certificate of residency. This means if you're outside Thailand for some reason, you wouldn't be able to sell your vehicle, something a lot of foriegners stuck outside Thailand during covid ran into.
