Hello all! Quick question for those that have gone thru the DTV Visa process. We are all set to move over in about a month. My question specifically entails setting up private medical insurance in Thailand. Did you guys set up medical insurance before or after arrival? Also looking for some good recommendations for heath insurance brokers.
Hello, I hope you can help me. I got my visa extended for a month and need to extend my travel insurance, for medical cover and traveling home cover. Could you recommend me some reliable insurance company please?
The one I used before needed me to get covered before traveling to Thailand.
I got my DTV recently (workcation) :-) leaving for Bangkok tonight from London, UK. I'm a UK citizen.
I wanted to ask about travel insurance companies and any recommendations. I normally have annual travel insurance (running out at the end of the month).
But I know that it wouldn't be valid if something happens, because I will be staying longer than 30 days maybe 90 to the max 180 days in Thailand before leaving.
Any recommendations of companies I could contact for insurance to cover slow travel, nomadic travel where I stay up to 180 days in a country, I might travel to Vietnam in between or Malaysia for my visa runs.
Hello, any recommendations for health insurance for DTV holder on a soft power? I would like one where I don’t advance money and that covers well including hospitalization. Ideally not only in Thailand but also SEA or even better anywhere in the world when i travel.
I currently have a travel/nomad one but I have to advance the money each time and justify thoroughly after. Lately the universe decided to remind me, a little bit too much, that we can all die at any moment so I d appreciate if anyone has an advice on a good insurance that removes the stress of wondering if I will be reimbursed a 50k hospital stay for ex.
