Thank You for your helpful / detailed report. Congratulations 👏 👏 👏

Be sure to PRINT OUT SEVERAL COPIES of the Evisa email you received to show Thai Immigration Officers upon arrival into Thailand during the 5 years that the DTV visa is valid.

Members.. please note that this is about getting the DTV visa from the Los Angeles Thai Consulate using the Evisa online application system inside the USA.

@Julia *********
they are wrong. They don't set the number of days you can be in Thailand. An often found error.

Should NOT 🚫 be a problem for you to leave Thailand and reenter Thailand as Visa Exempt Entry a couple months later.

On arrival you should be STAMPED in for 60 days and that can be extended for 30 ADDED days at your local Thai Immigration office for 1900 Thai baht.

There's no limit on staying in Thailand that you mention in your Post.

IF your retirement is based on the OA visa for retirement you obtained from your home country,

YES you will need to show PROOF of having the required health insurance when you apply for a one year extension of stay inside Thailand.

When did you first get your OA visa?
