I am coming from the US to Thailand and will get the senior retirement visa. Which is for one year I understand. Can I come and go and do a little traveling in the area out of the country within that one year visa. Or do I have to remain in Thailand the entire time?
Hello everyone 🫶 I am about to shift my whole life. So my plan is to apply for the 5 year Visa for remote workers.
I need to start from zero because I just start to work remote next months and like to prepare everything. I would be happy if you can help me with some of this questions:
How long do I need to wait?
Is 2-3 months of working remote enough?
And how much income do I need to have?
And what kind of documents do I need to show as a proof?
Can you recommend an ageny.
Maybe especially for german citizens?
And what kind of proof do I need to show as a proof?
Hello all! quick question... Need to do a DTV for my Laos GF. she s been living here for many years so she has bank account...... Can the 500K be on her thai Bank account or does the money has to be on a bank account outside the country?
I'm looking at getting the Thai DTV and have some questions about the information that must be provided. Also, I'm not sure if my situation is a bit complicated so I'll detail it here as best I can.
I currently have a remote job and I have everything required to apply for the DTV as a digital nomad at the moment (a job contract and the equivalent of 500k baht). However, I keep reading that I will need to provide 3-6 months worth of bank statements with the application, which I can do. However, I haven't had the equivalent of 500k baht in my bank account prior to this month and only met this financial target at the end of February. Do applicants need to have held this amount for at least 3-6 months before applying, or do you just need to show that you have it at the time of application?
I'm also reading that different embassies are selective about this, and the information I'm getting online is very varied. I'm currently in SEA at the moment (Malaysia right now and I will likely go to Vietnam next).
Knowing this is important because I am in the midst of wanting to leave my job and start my own business, which I'm in the process of currently. I know I can also apply for the DTV with a registered business, which I'm hoping I'd be able to do later this year if I don't do it while still holding my current job. I suppose I figured that while I do still have my job, it'd be good to get the visa before I make the transition (since I currently do have a valid employment contract). It isn't my plan to stay in the job for another 3-6 months, as I am already speaking with potential clients.
Basically what I want to know is do I need to wait until I've held 500k baht in my account for at least 3-6 months, or would I be able to apply sooner? Also, I'm from Canada (if anyone is wondering about my nationality).
having a 1-year extension of a "non o immigrant" visa can I change my city and new address? se si entro quanto tempo lo devo comunicare al nuovo ufficio immigrazione?
Assuming bank requirements are met, does one have to stay more than 180 days a year in thailand to get a multi entry retirement visa? How many years validity can a retirement visa have? Thank you.
