There's no fine for overstays less than 24 hours. You will get a stamp in your passport saying 'overstay less than 24 hours.'

Yeah, another statement that hasn't been clarified. From what I read, that's only if you have passengers and are recording inside the car (like a taxi). Thailand could go either way though.

International drivers PERMIT, there's no such thing as an international drivers license. Any company selling one is fake.

If you're still in the USA, AAA is the only agency that sells them. It costs $20 and is valid for 1 year.

Anyone with a single entry visa can buy a reentry permit at the airport to leave and come back in without affecting their visa.
