You should be aware that posting a picture on Facebook showing alcohol is a violation of Thai law, punishable by a fine and imprisonment. What's silly is people who are on "yearly extensions" simply because they're old and worthless to society thinking they're better than people who are on visa/extensions less than a year in duration.

The difficult requirements exist (in theory anyway) to mitigate corruption and people obtaining a visa fraudulently (paying a friend to "marry" you so you can get a marriage visa).

In reality it does stop those arrangements (house visits, ext) but it makes the legitimate visa process much more difficult and pushes people to agents that in turn increases the immigration officers take.

If you move to a different province, YOU need to go to immigration and submit a change of address notification, this is different from a TM30.
