Just check-in online - in the process you will be asked to attest that you have all the necessary documents for entry - tick the box and you are good to go. Why anyone bothers with the check-in counter is beyond me.
I've never heard of an immigration officer "reassessing visa rights" of visa holders. Their concern is generally with those entering visa exempt. I expect changes to the DTV to eliminate the apparent loophole that is issuing 5 year visas to attend a 1 month cooking class or single medical appointment. But I think those that already have DTV's should be safe.
the extension option for this visa makes no sense to me. The visa is for unlimited entries for a 5 year period. Why pay 10k to get it extended, why not just do a border bounce? It is astounding that they are giving out 5 year visas for single medical appointments. TIT
It's good. Should speed up entry and improve efficiency. They are merely leveraging technology, anyone who struggles with this shouldn't be travelling.
