Hi, ok thanks for the replies. So yes this is my first one, so I have to go in person. I went ahead and booked on the first available appointment which falls on my 97th day (including day I arrive). One last question - I'm on a DTV and staying 179 days, so I'll just need to do it this one time. However when return in Oct for the next 180, can I do my reporting online? Wasn't sure what they mean by doing for the first time (do they reset the counter every time you leave or will next year's be considered my second time?)
thanks, but I've read in several places that you can do the 90 day report in any immigration office. I happen to be very close to the Samut Sakhon one (it's much closer than CW)
ok, so that would mean the extension is only for 30 days. If that's the case, i stand by my original comment/question: a border bounce gets you an extra 180 days Vs a 30 day extension of stay for 1900, so why bother with the extension?
What nonsense....the "advice" you are getting is from wannabe internet lawyers who have no clue. Show me a link with one case of someone charged with such a "crime"
