You get an ASQ certificate when you leave quarantine, you'll be fine reguardless of the inter-provinicial(sp) restrictions.

Surprised the hotel allowed you to book it that way, but I doubt that's a problem. The hotel should have given you confirmation letter for your whole stay though.

Any DLT can issue them. Thais and Foriegners need to have a full 5 year drivers license, they will not issue an IDP on a temporary 2 year drivers license.

OK, which country can you not drive in Thailand on an IDP?

"first of all"

No, there are not different "versions" of an IDP. There is 1 IDP, that's why it's an international standard. There are different treaties and agreements between countries that validate the use of the IDP and foreign drivers in each country, but the IDP is the same.

An IDP from any country is valid in Thailand.

IDP's are valid in Thailand, not sure what everyone's on about saying they aren't. Vietnam was one of the only countries an IDP couldn't be used in up until 2019.
