How many nights do you usually book a hotel in the country where you apply for the Thai DTV (e.g., Vietnam)? Is 7 nights enough or do embassies expect a longer stay?

Hello,

I am applying for a workation dtv in Hanoï.

In the adress in Thailand section, what do you put? I have booked hotel for 12 nights waiting to find something more permanent. What do you I answer in other adress in Thailand?

Is it ok to have only the first 12 nights planned?

Also for the way I arrived, I don't have tickets yet as I don't know when my visa will be approved. Do I just put a flight number without booking?

Thank you

How do you guys provide accommodation for the application when you are outside of Thailand? I plan to look for a year lease condo when I'm there in person. Booking a hotel/airbnb for a week/month does the job for the application?

Hey everyone 🙂

I’m currently preparing to apply for the Destination Thailand Visa (DTV) from Switzerland, and I’m a bit unsure about one thing:

Do I already need to show a rental contract in Thailand, or is a hotel/accommodation booking (for the first few weeks) enough for the application?

Has anyone here applied from Switzerland and can share what documents were accepted?

Thanks a lot in advance 🙏

Hi all, thank you for your help. What do we submit for proof of location if applying from Vietnam or another country outside your home country. Do we just show our hotel booking and flights or what? Because obviously our drivers license, utility bill ect wouldn't help. Thank you!

Should I upload my TM30 from landlord for 1 yr, as proof of accomodation (I know I don't need to for DTV visa, but just for making the application more strong)?

Hi all, regarding the "intended date of arrival" section of the online application, I have not purchased a ticket yet for Thailand or booked a hotel yet because I have no idea how long my application will take to get approved. Does this mean that I have to book a ticket and hotel for Thailand anyway, even if I miss the flight date because my application approval takes longer than expected and I miss the flight?
