The second RT-PCR test required by the Test & Go scheme should be scrapped by March if the Centre for Covid-19 Situation Administration (CCSA) agrees with the proposal, according to the Tourism and Sports Ministry.

Tourism and Sports Minister Phiphat Ratchakitprakarn said on Friday that the ministry and the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) will propose a relaxation of entry requirements by replacing the second RT-PCR test with an antigen test kit, making the request at the next CCSA meeting on Feb 23.

If the proposal is approved, the new rule will be applied from next month, he Said.

I have a question about the RT- PCR test. If youโ€™re a keyboard warrior refrain from commenting! Is the RT- PCR the same as a fit to fly PCR?

Thank you

Question , I see some hotels are an SHA+ hotel, but offer multiple night bookings. Can you do the 1 night until your test comes back negative in the same hotel you stay in after that ? Or are only specific hotels designated for the 1 night package then you go to a non-SHA+ hotel ? Like are these hotels quarantine hotels with people in the white suits ?

Also, I am looking to go in late December , if thailand switches to the antigen rapid tests , does it make sense to still have a 1 night packaged booked anyways ?

We booked for 28th Oct to Phuket, Hotel not paid, CEO only registered.

I thought we wait till today if there is officially new rules from 1.11. but so far there isnโ€™t yet ?

If we paid for two PCR Tests and only need one, do they give refund ?

Iโ€˜m wondering if we arrive on 28th I would need only one test if the new rules are official ? Or would we have to change our flight to 1.11. ? ๐Ÿค”๐Ÿค”๐Ÿค”๐Ÿค”

Any Thai speakers in here? Want to head to Hat Yai immediately after 11 day ASQ from Bangkok but can't work out the rules laid out... Obviously this doesn't exist in English.

I've been told that if you travel immediately from ASQ then you won't have issues?

Thank you in advance!
