They used to offer a waiver where you could do transfers over 50k (face recognition is only for Thai nationals) but that’s now stopped. It might be replaced with another option but currently there isn’t any.

Doesn’t matter. They’ll do the photos and forms for you. They charge a 200 baht extra admin fee if you don’t have all.

No. a Non O is fine for most people. Some get the Non OA because they don’t want to move money over to Thailand.

Also the MFA have nothing to do with requirements for extending visas within Thailand. They sell visas to enter Thailand.

Visit your local immigration office (Chaengwattana) to ask for their requirements as each office has different requirements.

That link is about the Non OA visa. It requires health insurance. The Non O and extensions from it don’t.

Not an issue getting the extension, providing you meet all the criteria. However the extension will only be until July 17th unless you renew your passport prior to applying.
