TLDR : Answer Summary
Reports indicate that the Ranong border with Myanmar has closed, with similar closures affecting Myanmar, Cambodia, Burma, and Laos. However, there are conflicting reports about the status of the Nong Khai border. Some community members are seeking confirmation about these borders and discussing the implications for tourists and long-term guests in Thailand.

Hope on a human aproach to this issue by Thai officials. 🤞KFC!

And of course it should be noted "that long term guests help to keep the local businesses running during this tough time"

Not only NOW but all year.

people are saying despite Laos discontinuing VOA, the Chinag Khong/Nong Khai have been giving them out. Nobody knows when they will catch up with the regulations issued this morning. If you're counting on it, go now. Not in an hour, but now...

Yeah, Myanmar, cambodia, Burma, and Laos are closed.

You can still get visa on arrival at Laos. Lots of people getting through today. Tomorrow, who knows?

Nong Khai and Savanakhet are still open. And I know where they are😁

Malaysia also closed. Australia also closed now to all non residents.

Burma and Myanmar, different names for the same place. It's now Myanmar, used to be Burma.
