What are the pros and cons of the Bronze Elite Visa for retirees in Thailand?

Here's another one, please remember these are just thought's,ideas going through my head to help the process of retiring in Thailand, this is not just for me it's for anyone who needs simple answers to simple questions, anyway what's the thoughts on the bronze elite visa, it is expensive but would it solve a lot of problems, or is it just a posh tourist visa, ps no sarcasm please like on my last few posts we are all trying to learn the ins and outs of living in a gorgeous country called Thailand,

To me the Elite Visa made the most sense for someone under 50 to bridge to the day they turn 50. I do know a couple of over 50 retirees with 20 year Elite visa’s and they love it.

The Elite Visa has its place. For a little over USD $300 per month, this visa provides unrestricted long-term residency. I can’t think of anywhere else in the world where this opportunity exists.

Elite visa is only for those who doesn't qualify for other visas and can pay upfront....myself is using the nonO retirement visa (over 50) which cost 1900baht annually... 800k is still there after 5yrs where else the 650k u pay for elite is totally gone after 5yrs

The whole Elite visa program was made obsolete by the introduction of the DTV.

The Thai Privilege Visa is a glorified tourist visa. It’s expensive but works for many people who don’t care about the price or value the peace of mind it offers.

Many are opting for the DTV visa as it offers a 5 year validity at a fraction of the price. If eligible check out the LTR Visa. It offers some tax benefits and is only 50k.
