Hi, I want to apply for the one year extension on my 90 day non O visa, my visa expires before my funds have had two months in Thai bank. Can I get a 30 day extension on a non O visa?

Hi, with the new rules coming in this week, I’m not sure how it’s going to impact my future plans. So in the next 1-2 years, I was to get a visa to stay long term. So I guess I have 2 options, 1)arrive and get a 2 monthVOA, and then work with an agent when I’m here to get my LTV, or should I arrange it all when I’m back in UK? Your thoughts would be greatly appreciated

When opening a Thai bank on a non o visa in readiness for the 1 year retirement visa can you deposit more than the required 800 K baht ? If so , can I take out money for day to day living expenses but still have the 800 K in the bank and not be penalised by immigration when the time comes for the yearly application extension. Will one of you experts clear up an issue for me? I'm here on a non-retirement O visa with 800,000 baht in the bank. I thought that there was a requirement that the money remain in my account for a certain period (3 months maybe) after extending my visa before I could draw any of it out. On the face of it, that sounds pretty ridiculous - how would Immigration know what I do after I renew the visa? But I could swear that I heard something like this. Was I dreaming?
