Actual name is Destination Thailand Visa. Remote worker is one way to apply.

Does that mean that anyone can apply for DTV from Jakarta now while staying in Thailnd? Or do you have to physically be outside Thailand when applying?

You have to be in Indonesia to apply via the Jakarta embassy. They will ask for proof to see that you are.

Jakarta has the world's worst air pollution and very unfriendly fantical religious locals ,so best avoided if possible for one of the other Asian options ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿฝ

You now don't need to be physically in Jakarta to apply for a visa, you can be anyehere in Indonesia such as Bali
