TLDR : Answer Summary
Jakarta will transition to an e-visa system starting November 26th. In-person applications will be accepted up until November 21st. There are questions in the community regarding whether individuals can apply for a DTV visa while still in Thailand or if they must be outside the country to do so.

Does that mean that anyone can apply for DTV from Jakarta now while staying in Thailnd? Or do you have to physically be outside Thailand when applying?
You have to be in Indonesia to apply via the Jakarta embassy. They will ask for proof to see that you are.
