Quick reminder. Wednesday 22nd is a public holiday and immigration offices will be closed.

Land borders and airports are not affected.

It’s a religious holiday so will almost certainly be alcohol free (but I’ve not seen confirmation of that anywhere).

TLDR : Answer Summary
Wednesday the 22nd is a public holiday in Thailand, specifically Visakha Bucha Day, during which immigration offices will be closed. However, land borders and airports will remain open. It is expected to be an alcohol-free day due to the nature of the religious observance.
