I have a passport and car driving license from The Netherlands, and a motorcycle driving license from Colombia.

I would like to get a thai license so I can drive a motor here.

What to do? Where do i go?

I’m in a small town, most lilely will need to take a bus/train/plane for a larger city like chiang mai/bangkok.

Hello, does anyone know how you can get a Thai drivers licence renewed?

I heard they introduced an online booking system, but I can't use it because it wants a Thai ID.

In Phuket - does anyone have experience of the DLT here? Can I just turn up like I did when I got my licence a few years ago?

I'm looking to go and do the Thai motorcycle test and I have an appointment to get a certificate of residency from the British Embassy.

Does anyone know if the certificate is then acceptable in it's current form or does it need to be translated and approved by the MOA before it is accepted?

Just want to make sure I do this correct first time round and nowhere online mentions getting it verified first.

Has anyone been to the DLT office at Taling Chan? I want to get a Thai driving licence (I have an IDP) but I don't have anyone Thai to go with me without inconveniencing them and my Thai wouldn't be anywhere near good enough if nobody there speaks a little bit of English. I live in Pinklao so it would save a lot of hassle instead of going to Chatuchak.
