Yes you can. You could have over 10m in the account and spend at will. Immigration only want to see that you have at least 800k at the time of application.

Only if you use scam websites. The official one doesn’t charge.

Perfectly fine if they’re staying a month or so. The hotel act allows long term stays in non registered properties.

It’s certain short term stays that fall foul of that law.

Non immigrant visas are for long term stays and not considered tourist visas.

The 60 day visa exempt entry is exactly what it says. You are exempt from holding a visa - you have no visa just an entry stamp.

I’m also aware that there are lots of other types of visas not mentioned by the OP

They specifically said a “90 day tourist visa” which does not exist.

You are referring to a special visa waiver scheme that a few countries have with Thailand. That’s not a tourist visa. It’s a visa waiver. As a Korean if you bought a tourist visa prior to arrival you would get 60 days. Not that anyone would want to waste their money doing so.

At the bottom of the page is a link for a users guide. In Thai or English it will take you through step by step what’s needed.

Had a person today at immigration with a 20+ day overstay because they bought a “90 day tourist visa” prior to coming and wanted an extension. They hadn’t realised that a tourist visa is valid for 90 days from issue but gives you 60 days on entry.

Some people don’t realise the difference.

There is no 90 day tourist visa. You’re either on a 60 day tourist visa or a 60 day visa exempt stamp. Either option allows a 30 day extension (except for a few countries).

London is usually pretty quick - like

working days, if you’ve got all the right documents. If they need extra stuff they’ll email you what’s needed.
