What is the best Visa to apply for if I want to come out with idea to look for place to live? Area. I don’t think tourist visa with 60+ 30 will be enough time. I’ve spent 3 months there on Holliday touring the country but lool at it for living.
Hi all. This is post that I never seen asked so here goes. Im totally lost with what visa I need to apply for as I won’t be a tourist as such. I’m looking to attend a rehab facility early next year but my stay will be for 90 days minimum. Thanks in advance people.
Hello I am from Australia and am 41 and im looking to spend a year living in Thailand to test the waters before I fully commit to selling up and coming over full time. I'm not looking to take on and work and have enough funds to support myself during my stay. What visa will I need to do so? Sorry in advance for being uninformed on the subject!
Hello👋🏻 , m planning my first ever trip to thailand where i would preferably stay for a year at least as a remote worker ( I don’t make 2700$/month for a DTV ) , should i just go visa free for 90 days then leave and get a 90 visa for a total of 6 months ? Is there any better options ? I heard people take muai thai classes for a full year visa. Any help would be much appreciated 🙏🏻
I want to apply for the DTV visa for Thailand (l saving this September) I have all the qualifications and except the REASON. I am not a digital remote worker.
I have enrolled in a 2 week yoga intensive. I have contacted a few places where I am going but they either only want cash on arrival so no ability to present a receipt of payment for enrollment before applying for the visa from Canada.
One cooking school said “someone applied from here for their visa through our school” and this school offers one day - all day courses but….one day?!
The language schools I contacted want me to enroll of 2 months for 1000$.
Two extremes.
Has anyone found a happy medium for a place on KPG that will take payment from Canada in order to justify a long stay?
My dad is 70 and planing to travel back to Thailand for long term stay. Which category of visa he needs to go with it?
He is retired, pretty healthy, no income but 6 of his children in US can support him financially. I heard retirement visa is hard to get for him and I just curious if DTV is a little bit more flexible and easy for him.
