What should I expect at Thai immigration tomorrow, and how can I handle my visa extension or renewal?
Just to gauge what tomorrow will entail for many around the country, if you have to go to immigration tomorrow then comment here and send us a picture of any queues (if any 😀) and note what office it is. It may give us an idea of what the various offices around the country are like on the busiest day of the year.
Answer summary
The discussion revolves around expectations and experiences related to visiting Thai immigration offices, particularly focusing on a busy day. Expats are encouraged to share their experiences with queues at various offices, and there are specific inquiries about renewing tourist visas and obtaining extensions. Several users provide insights about timing, suggesting avoiding visits on peak days unless necessary, and they also exchange tips on online appointments and procedures for visa extensions.

I totally forgot and showed up at IT Square today 😭😂 We are planning on going tomorrow. Is it going to be brutal? I just need a 30 day extension and they have that special section now.

Almost certainly yes. Especially in places like Bangkok, Chiang Mai, Phuket and such. Smaller provincial offices may escape the bedlam.Activity
