The limit of 2 border entries using visa exempt entries no longer exists. The use of “unlimited” as a term is misleading in terms that there is no actual limit, but you won’t get away with “unlimited” entries. You will get away with as many as you can get away with until the immigration officer decides that you can’t anymore. Whether that is 2, 3 or 8 is up to them.

He can use any immigration office, but most will require a filed TM30 for that province the office covers.

Some like Phuket and Krabi don’t ask for a TM30 for short term extensions, but will require an address within their province.

Different people will have different experiences. Some airlines will insist, some won’t care. The fact that you got in ok has no real relevance to others’ experiences

If you came in on a visa exempt entry you use the office at IT Square, Laksi Plaza.

You will probably need a filed TM30 to do so. Your girlfriend can sign up to file one online here.

Generally immigration won’t care that you have a flight out after your initial number of entry days, but your airline could insist.

I doubt you’ll have any luck applying with another active visa.

The embassy in Hanoi or the consulate in HCMC. Check either website for requirements that they ask for.

Actually there are visas obtained inside Thailand. The Non O based on being over 50 or married to a Thai are two examples. They are visas. They come with zero entries because you are already in Thailand, so you’d have to have a re-entry permit if you wanted to leave.

I asked for confirmation on this from my boss at immigration. They confirmed that there is no set limit on ผ.60 entries at land borders.
