Just a quick question please. If I come to Thailand on a normal tourist visa say 30 days, then pop to Japan for say a week, then return - do my 7 days extend my Thailand stay by 7 days? Sorry if it's not 100% clear

Hi. What's the risk of being denied entry to Thailand? My latest experience: staying in Thailand from July 2024 to June 2025. During this time, I had four border runs and extensions at the immigration office. Previous years involved short visits of two weeks each. I haven't been to Thailand since June, which is nine months. Now I'd like to go for two weeks. I don't have time to apply for a different visa type because I'd like to fly to Thailand tomorrow 😂

I am looking into getting a DTV and moving to Thailand, and I have a small dog. Just wondering what other people do with their dog when doing border runs? Do you bring them or find someone to care for them while you’re gone? Just trying to think about the logistics.

Arrived on 60 day visa exempt and then additional 30 day extension has been made whilst there

Can someone leave the country and re enter the same day or a few days later and get a new 60 day visa exempt?

A lot of previous years this has been done with a boat trip out and back again same day, unsure if this can now be done?

Know people can just apply for different visas in future etc, just asking for this occasion.

Asking for someone who is there and the 30 days extension expires in a few days and they’re unsure if return home or attempt a border run.

So... where to begin here. My god what a horrible experience with the Thai embassy in the Hague!

Nobody never attend the calls. I did call them 100 times never ever someone picked up.

When asked question for the DTV soft no one ever gives conreet answers! They just say: check the site. Or an copied automatic message.

All required documents I delivered as of most important:

Proof of funds last 3 months

Proof of funds of the actual day of today.

When asked why its rejected nobody answers.

For 180 day reporting with DTV. Is it just fill the TM47 again as I did for 90 days or is it more difficult? I’m in Phuket this week and was hoping to do it here but maybe it’s easier to drive to Laos boarder when I fly home on Friday.
