Something that should have been so simple of turning into a nightmare, spent all afternoon at Jomtien Immigration trying to get residency certificate

Got there and paperwork wrong as I had left Thailand for a few days during Songkran so TM30 date didn't match

Contacted the managing agent of condo who did a new one and went back, they said this isn't ok as it's just an online one, condo agent says it is correct, anyone know?

Example below of what condo agent sent (just a web sample)

I did my 90 Day Report in early January at CW.. I'm moving to a new condo next week. Do I need to do a new 90 Day Report immediately or wait until the current 90 days is up to do a new report?

Kind of visa related. Anyone get this in their early morning notifications? I may have triggered it lol. I changed my address at AIS and on my BB app yesterday. Moved to a new condo. Have lease with owners passport and blue book. I have all my visa stuff and TM30 up to date through the end of August at my current place. I think I may have jumped the gun by changing the address myself lol. Thoughts? Do I need any other paperwork. I was in process of info gathering regards opening another bank account because of some of the potential problems with Bangkok bank and agent used visa accruals? Appreciate any advice on dealing with that message. Sorry for my rambling. If this has been addressed ad nauseum just ignore me. Thanks to all you happy thailanders. 😊

Hi, I want to travel to Japan but need a visa for it. According to Japan Embassy's website, I need to show proof of long term residency in Thailand and a tourist visa will not suffice. Any idea if they would accept DTV? My nationality is Indian if it helps.

Question about the new TDAC form from May 1st

I don’t really have an issue with filling out the form itself, but I’m confused about one thing:

When selecting *country of residence*, it seems you can’t choose the Kingdom of Thailand.

What do you do if you are on a DTV - live here, pay tax here, and officially have residency here?

Choosing another country would technically mean lying on the form – any thoughts or experience with this?

Thanks in advance 🙏

Hi all, looking for recommendations for a good tax accountant in Phuket (chalong) area if possible.

Will be changing my residency from Australian to Thailand for taxes and also have a company in Hong Kong where i currently get paid.

Ideal accountant would be across these expat situations, up to date with latest changes vs latest rumours and good english would be great as I'll have a lot of questions. Doesn't need to be the cheapest accountant, just a good one.

Hi,

Sorry for asking but i can't find answer about my case...

I entered by air on 8/7 visa exemption 30days

I wanna now to get an extension of it for 30days more.

I live with my girlfriend in a condo in Bkk

My question is: what's the right document she has to provide to proof my residence ?

And where is the right immigration office i have to go for it?

Thanks for answering 🙏🇹🇭

Hoping for some advice from someone who can talk from experience.

I’ve recently built and moved to my new home. Unfortunately it appears I’ve either misplaced or thrown out by mistake my passport and Thai bank books. What are the steps I need to take to renew a passport and transfer my present visa etc?

Clueless as I’ve never made this mistake before.
