Hi, has any Filipino crossed Thailand with a DTV visa? What are the common questions? Do you really need to print all the documents and the return ticket? I heard they can be strict with asian nationalities. Thank you.

New Rules…

Let me get this straight.... after reading many articles on the lack of tourist they're once again changed the rules...... so, if I come to Thailand on the standard 60-day visa and then extended 30 days and during that time, I spend $8,000/$10,000 enjoying myself and at the same time contributing to Thailand's tourism industry........ and then I decide I'd like to spend another 60 or 90 days having a great time and contributing even more $$$ to the local area and I will be refused?

Ummmm .........

Heads up!

my son and his GF have been in and out of thailand on visa exemptions for a year or so ( they do Mauy thai). long story short they came back to Australia to apply for Multiple entry tourist visa. They were approved in 3 days.. Happy - took flights to Phuket yesterday ( with flights out of the country in less then 90 days). They were totally grilled and eventually let in but told they can not return again this year! ( despite the visa being approved for 6 months). They were advised to get a DTV ( but GF under 20).

evidently to do with spending more then 180 days in one year in thailand. just thought i’d let people know.

When the DTV Nomad is approved, how much time do we have to come to Thailand? Is there a time 'validity' before the departure of the country of origin to Thailand until get the stamp when we receive the approval from the embassy?

Sorry if this is something real simple that I am missing, I have tried looking multiple places but can't seem to get the answers I'm looking for. I am currently on a 60 day tourist visa exemption. Going to bkk immigration this week to extend for another 30 days. When those 30 days are up, can I leave Thailand and come back in on another 60 day tourist exemption visa? Or is there a limit to how many you can do in a year?

When arriving in Thailand by plane in Phuket and having 60 days visa exemption, can onward or exit ticket be train or bus ticket?

Can it be, for example, bus ticket from Hat Yai to Penang, Malaysia or it has to be plane ticket?
