there's NO equivalent of the DTV visa in Vietnam. In fact Vietnam does not even offer a retirement visa.

I think you have recently asked this...but I suggest you 🚫 NOT apply for the DTV visa with the Kuala Lumpur Thai Embassy. They are difficult.

It's recommended by Thai Embassy's and Consulates to apply within 3 MONTHS of your planned trip to Thailand.
