Please approve for extra knowledge.

"I messaged Thai embassy in Hanoi if my employer can provide a sponsorship letter as i don't have exact 500K Baht in my account."

That's what they said and why the hell TRC and Work Permit is needed for Pakistani Passport Holders 😢😢😢

I see lots of questions about Thai banks. I have been married to my Thai wife for 50+ years. She has a Thai passport and ID card and an American passport, drivers license etc. we live in the USA 🇺🇸.

we are fixing to go to Thailand 🇹🇭 again in January. I want her to open a bank account and add me on the account like here in the USA 🇺🇸.

Is that doable? Also which banks in Bangkok are more user friendly and have less fees?

TIA

All my funds are in my LLC bank account (I own 100% of it). The name of the account is "Business Name LLC." If I submit this as proof of funds will I be denied since it's not showing my name? I also have a coinbase account with enough funds but I read they don't really accept that? Applying from the US as a remote worker if that matters.

As currently getting thar twice a year and don't really fancy forking out for the elite visa as looking to start a business in the next 2 years. Any advice much appreciated

Hello all,

I’ve checked the group before penning this message but to no avail; in a slight pickle. Thanks in advance for any help or insight.

I had applied (successfully) and obtained an e-visa, running to 20th March 2025. I showed this to immigration at Krabi on arrival and all was well/approved. However, my friend whom has just arrived (with the same longevity of successful visa), warned me to check the stamp listed in my passport, that was added by immigration, as he’d heard a couple of horror stories and it seems his stamp is only valid for 60 days.

Now checking, the stamp in my passport, reflects that it’s “valid until” the 2nd December, I.e only 60 days.

With this context, the question is, as presumably immigration will go by the stamp over any e-visa or QR code I share, how can I remedy this? Is it as simple as an immigration office or returning back to the airport for them to “override” or re-stamp my passport with the correct, deferred date?

Sorry if this had been posted before. Feeling a bit anxious. Any help is hugely hugely appreciated 🙏🙏

Hi All!

I have a child and girlfriend living in Thailand and I'm currently looking at suitable visa types. My job makes things a little trickier as I work outside of Thailand for 28 days and then I will spend 28 days in Thailand away from work, this rotation will carry on indefinitely so multiple entries is a must. I sent an email to the Thai E Visa website and they responded saying a DTV would be the most suitable option. However, when I look at applying for a DTV on the E Visa website the only choice I seem to have is that of a spouse of a DTV holder and not that of a parent of a Thai dependent as the lady stated in her reply. I've tried emailing a few times again but just get the same reply stating the DTV. Has anyone here been granted a DTV as the parent or guardian of a Thai dependent and if so how did you go about it?

Good morning,

I have been traveling to Thailand for over 30 years, but now I'm retiring and want to spend up to 6 months of the year in Thailand 🇹🇭 and 6 months in the UK 🇬🇧

What is the best option of visa for me please, because there are some new visas available now.

Also, my friends say use an agent it's easier.

Any advice would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance
