TLDR : Answer Summary
Recent updates indicate that a visa exemption for Thailand is now available, allowing eligible individuals to apply for the Certificate of Entry (CoE) without needing a visa. Quarantine remains mandatory for 15 days upon arrival. However, some embassies have experienced delays in updating their information regarding this policy. Travelers are encouraged to check with their local Thai embassies for the latest requirements and procedures. Some consulates, like those in Abu Dhabi and Washington, have confirmed the new exemptions, while others are still in the process of updating their guidelines.

Ive just had official mail back from the Abu Dhabi embassy that this above is correct and can now travel, not sure if it is updated for Coe but just received the mail now. As i have been in contact with them anyway about submitting my paperwork to enter the Kingdom in the New Year going onshore 31st December. So good news folks as my Mrs was just about to send me my paperwork to Abu Dhabi via DHL.Good news,i think for those travelling and in the above Category.

Dear Sir,

The announcement published by the embassy is true, not the fake news. If you are those list, you are allowed to travel without visa.

Kindly follow the instructions on the announcement to obtain the COE.

The Chinese always needed a visa, so it’s probably been sent to the countries that were exempt before.

Hope some guys get the use of it.

It would also be good to mention that as of now, the COE website does not offer visa exemption/bilateral agreement as an option. The embassy jumped the gun.

Update: now available as of
