What is the minimum stay period required outside Thailand for DTV visa holders on a border bounce?
With DTV visa What is the minimum stay period of Border-bounce? If i go out of Thailand ( not Myanmer, Combodia or Laos) is there specific time period, that i need to stay out of Thailand?

You can bounce same day at Laos friendship bridge. I wouldn't do that every time since it probably doesn't look favorable, but here and there no problem.

I've had my DTV since the govt started accepting applications. I've never had an issue coming back into Thailand after a 2 or 3 day mini vacation.

Border bounce means stamp out, stamp in neighbor country, stamp out neighbor counrty and stamp in Thailand, can be done within minutes.

There is no time period but it is recomended at least a day. I plan at least a week and no flying into bkk. Its once every 6 months not that bad.

And yet other multiple-entry visas have, and indeed still do, function exactly like that. So when you say ‘it is recommended at least a day…’ you mean; recommended by you, based on your reasonably intuitive speculation. ก็ว่าแล้ว

If yu understand the visa for what its designed as you know they may gawk at straight visa runs coming in 30 minutes after you left. Who knows for sure but its possible they will start to give peple like that problems in the future.Biff *******

I dont think there is anything written in official rules. However, it may come down to an individual officer not looking very positively at someone, who is trying to enter the country, having exited just 5 minutes ago.

If that is the way someone has choosen to go about a border bounce then best to have a plan IMHO. If the immigration officer says no reentry then suggest offering 500 THB. Be prepared to go up to 1,000 but no further.

And for visa exempt at some borders they just say "At this border we don't do it this way" and at that moment you don't have any choice because in the end they decide about entry.
