Answer summary

All immigration offices in Bangkok, Nonthaburi, and Samut Prakan will be closed on November 16th, 17th, and 18th for the APEC Summit. It is advised that if your immigration stamp date falls during these closures, you should visit the immigration office before or on the first working day after the closure to avoid overstay fines, although an overstay stamp may still be registered.

Just for your information and to avoid panic in the house:

You might go to Immigration if the date in your stamp is during closing days before the closed dates

OR

IF you go the first working day after this closure there will be NO overstay fines but you will get the overstay stamp in your passport and it will be registered in the Immigration database.
