😊UPDATE....😊

She is now IN THAILAND

see last posting for details.

A young lady, who is a foreigner, graduated with Degree from a Thai University last December and is seeking advice from forum members.

She has been DENIED entry.

PLEASE LIMIT YOUR COMMENTS TO SUGGESTIONS FOR HER REENTRY INTO THAILAND....Her denied entry is fact...NOW she needs your suggestions.

"I just got denied entry at Don Mueang airport. Since I graduated from a Thai university in December, I have been on 30 days visa exempts and a Single Entry Tourist Visa with extension.

I had obtained the new SETV from KL and upon my arrival at Don Mueang was questioned by Thai Immigration.

I showed the Thai Immigration Officer my return flight ticket back to my home country booked at the end of the new tourist visa, 20,000 Thai baht cash and my booking address of my planned stay in Thailand.

That was NOT acceptable to the Thai Immigration Officer.

I do understand it is not the correct way to stay in the country.

Anyways, following denial, I only could fly back to where I flew in from, which is Kuala Lumpur.

I wish to return to Thailand. Following which I will use my already purchased airline ticket to return to my home country.

Is it a good idea for me to try the land border Padang Besar?

Or where should I reenter Thailand?

Thank you for your suggestions."

TLDR : Answer Summary
A foreign graduate who recently completed a degree in Thailand was denied entry at Don Mueang airport despite having a valid Single Entry Tourist Visa. She is seeking advice on how to successfully reenter Thailand, considering alternatives like the Padang Besar land border.
