"Hi James, saw your comments on Thai visa FB group and that you're a moderator. I left Suvarnabhumi on Thursday and went through passport control at Zone 3 (it's closest to the later alphabet letter check in counters eg N onwards).
There is no re entry permit desk in Zone 3.
After they stamped my passport I had to walk back to Zone 2 passport control and line up for the reentry permit.
There's only 1 reentry permit desk in passport control and it's in Zone 3 despite there being 3 zones.
So just FYI you can clear passport control and then apply for reentry but have to walk to Zone 2.
If you print out the TM form and fill it in plus have your passport photo ready it's 1000 baht not 1200 baht. 15 mins max I waited."
