Stephen Volenec asked in a post he made today about how to get an extension of stay from Thai Immigration due to the coronavirus situation...

He also asked this QUESTION..

I have moved it here to a new post for replies:

"Thanks. Where can I find a listing of descriptions of the various types of visas so as to apply for a longer period Visa when I fly to Vientiane, Laos later this month?

I see people chatting about many different types of visas but I don't know which is what."

The type of visa a person can apply for depends on countless variables. A good website that I use is:

**********************************************************************
*****
**********
-Issuance-of-Visa.html

and

******************************************

[Edit: Deleted some wrong information. Coffee wasn't strong enough. Thanks

They will only issue the 90 day single entry in Vientiane. For the multi entry 1 year you have to go to Savanakhet, if doing it in Laos.
