May I ask ?

Why did you delete and or close commenting on your post?

There was more good option advice being written ...but poof...but I could not reply on your post...???

My reply...

Get the 30 day extension you are entitled to by December 4th...

BUT

I suggest you go ASAP

Get the 30 days you are entitled to this week

AND go AGAIN by November 26th and apply for the 60 days COVID extension...

You may get lucky and get both ๐Ÿ˜Š

Good Luck.

You asked...

"Hi guys. My 60 day visa runs out on December 4. Assuming immigration doesn't issue a covid-extension before November 26 (I have not done the 30 day extension yet). Once I get it that means I can stay until around January 4. From there what is the best way to restart the clock?

I really don't want to shell out $18k for an elite but... if the hassle is to great this might be my last resort. What is the most viable way to get more time without having to go all the way back to the US to restart the clock? Usually I just hop on a plane and spend a couple months in PI, Vietnam or Japan but since they are closed, this plan is a bit far fetched. Would Singapore be a good option? Any advice?"

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is seeking advice on extending their 60-day visa that expires on December 4, 2021, without returning to the US. They mention considering both a 30-day extension and a COVID extension. Suggestions in the discussion include applying for the 30-day extension quickly and utilizing potential COVID extensions. Additional inquiries about recent updates regarding the COVID extension's validity until December 31 are also raised.

On a separate note I'm reading on Reddit that the covid extension has just been extended to Dec 31st. Any confirmation on this?

we are awaiting confirmation of the new extension.

It has not been published

In the Royal Gazette.

therefore...

The details are not yet known.

But I suspect they may be different from the COVID extensions of now.

No! I didn't delete it! I just made a quick edit adding that if I did the 30 day extension I'd have until January 4. Once I made the edit it said it was waiting for moderation again. In that case what would be the best way to extend from there? My main question was how to extend further beyond the 30 day extension.
