Why do they require a TM30 or a TM47 or photos and copies of passports and entry stamps/extensions/visas when that information is already on their computer systems?
Yes but there are no official details on how to apply as yet. Going on past history with official announcements we will probably hear on the 30th April how to do it. Perhaps a bit before but I won’t hold my breath on that.
A 90 day Non O can only be extended for one year providing you meet the requirements to do so. You cannot get a 30 day extension off of it.

Thai child then you can apply for one “visit Thai family” extension of 60 days - but this will probably be dated from the date of application not added on to your existing stamp.
Australian citizens would get a visa free exempt stamp for 60 days. It’s not a Visa on Arrival (don’t follow those signs) as they are for different countries. Just go to the normal “foreign passport” queues. Keep your boarding card from the plane. The officer may request it.
