“Hello everyone, I worked as a teacher in Thailand for a few years and have a Thai bank account with a balance, as well as ownership of a condo in Thailand. I resigned from my job on March 1st, 2025, and currently don’t have employment outside of Thailand. Am I eligible for the Digital Nomad Visa (DTV)?”

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user inquired about their eligibility for the Digital Nomad Visa (DTV) after resigning from their teaching job in Thailand. Responses indicate that resignation from a job may hinder DTV eligibility; however, some suggest pathways under the 'soft power' route, which involves engaging in approved activities like cultural classes or medical appointments. Overall, the consensus is that without a remote job or compliance with specific conditions, eligibility for DTV is questionable.
