I took my decision to use Kasikorn bank at the time as they had more ATMs. All my experiences have been great and I even opened another bank account ( as I wanted to build money for future use) with them and linked it to my app.

Bangkok bank flipped to harsh as the government told them to clean up their act as in the past they were easy and they hooked Falange to take out insurance ( which was an official bribe)

I believe the DTV is a remote working visa with multi entry. In fact they suggest you leave and come back with lengths of stay of 180 days.

I was referring to those who come on 60 days and keep trying to extend by border runs

Get the appropriate visa for your needs. Thais getting dissed with people abusing the system

You obviously have initial costs but would say to is about right. I am closer to 0 but I pay 100% for the GF and support the family a little.

Apartment is 8000 for me

Just make sure you have a visa that will suit your trip next time just in case.

Don’t forget they like our money but they don’t want you in Thailand
