Mate it is possible. You just need the right agent. Almost certainly they won’t do it as a seperate service but only as a joint thing as opening the account and getting a Non O (and extension).

People have no idea that an overstay in Thailand can have consequences. They may have done 1,2,3 or whatever days and paid the fine at the airport and no other issues.

However what they don’t realise is that they got away with breaking the law (as most do). The unfortunate ones get caught at a police check point or similar and found on overstay and get incarcerated, sent to an immigration detention centre and deported at their expense.

Rarely happens but it does sometimes. This is why it’s horrible why so many people say it’s no issue to overstay. Because that shit hasn’t happened to them so assume it won’t happen to anyone.

On another side there’s plenty of stories from people that have had an overstay stamp in Thailand and subsequently denied a visa in a third party country because of it.

Where are you trying? Pattaya? If so you’re going to have issues. The issue with this group is that people don’t give enough information about their issues in order to help in many cases. They believe that everywhere in Thailand offers the same experience they’ve had and can’t accept that elsewhere may differ.

You need to be stamped out of Thailand before 11:59pm of the date stamped in your passport.

Usually at an airport they would waive the 500 baht fee if your overstay is less than 24 hours.

No issue. Bring both passports with you and show the officer your re-entry permit in the old passport. They’ll stamp you in on the new passport.

Then go to your local immigration office to get your extension stamp and re-entry (if multiple) placed in the new passport. Once done you can forget about having to need the old passport.

A Non O visa is valid to enter Thailand for 90 days after issue. On entry you’d get 90 days to stay.

Almost impossible these days without using a visa agent. I’ve not heard of a travel agent offering bank account services.

No one can say for sure as it’s up to the individual immigration officer you hand your passport to. But 86 days this year plus wanting more isn’t a typical tourist thing and may certainly raise red flags.

To CYA have the three proofs that they may ask for.

1. 20,000 baht (or equivalent) in cash.

2. Proof of accommodation (for the first few days at least)

3. A ticket out of Thailand within the 60 days allowed (you’d probably get away with 90 but your airline may cause issues).
