Hello! I'm starting the DTV process October 1 and wonder if anyone had a good economical agent in Laos or Vietnam?

HCMC Thai embassy slots seems to be all booked up until October. Does anyone know if they are moving their services online after October? (DTV)

Does any one know if you need to apply for an ETA for going onces to Thailand in January till Feb pls

If I apply to add my 19 year old daughter to my DTV ( yep I realise we both need 20,000 au in our accounts) will her visa remain valid for 5 years or expire when she turns 20? ( we can both meet the other requirement). Thank you

Has anyone in here applied for the DTV from the washington dc embassy? When i was looking at the thailand website it says the amount of money needed in your account is set by the embassy but it’s so hard to get a response at the DC embassy. Me and my boyfriend are set to start our expat journey on November 3rd and our first stop is thailand however we are unsure what visa we would need to get! We are currently getting our TEFL and the program would be completed there but i’m getting mixed reviews on applying to teaching jobs before moving vs doing it after moving because of course visa concerns ! Could anyone direct me to a youtuber or a blog with better information ? I’ve been using reddit , national pages and the “Retired working for you “ youtube channel

is it okay if your bank statement is not in english?

Does anyone know how soon after obtaining the DTV that you have to use it? Is it within 3 months of initial valid from date or longer?

Hi, do I need to have the money in the account for past 6 months? Thai Embassy in Vietnam asks for 6 months statement.

Do my contract documents need to be translated into english from whatever language they are now?

Let's say we need 6 months of bank statements. Do all 6 sets need to be above 500k? Or only the last one.

Seems wasteful to just have 500k sitting in the checkings account... so makes sense to move some money in the last month to make it 500k, right?
