Good morning all, I'm leaving Thailand tomorrow for a month and its the first time that I'm leaving on my Non o. As its only a single entry I'll need to apply for a re-entry permit. Ive been looking on Google and its says I can get this at Suvarnabhumi after security, I've been through security here countless times and I can honestly say I've never noticed anything between security and immigration. I was hoping someone who has done this at Suvarnahumi could offer a bit more of a detailed explanation as to where to do it. Thanks!

TLDR : Answer Summary
The conversation addresses the process of applying for a re-entry permit at Suvarnabhumi Airport for travelers holding a Non-O visa. Users share their experiences and instructions, indicating that the re-entry permit desk is located after security, before the immigration desks. It's suggested to ask an immigration officer for directions if uncertain. Additionally, some members advise to bring a passport photo and fill out the application form beforehand to avoid extra charges.

After security, Bottom of stairs/escalator, turn right and walk straight about 15 meters to the back wall. Small office right there.

It’s really easy and only takes a few minutes. It’s between security and the immigration desks.

You use International Departures 2 and the re-entry permit desk is downstairs after security before the Immigration desks

Ok, thats not too bad. I can do the photo as I always carry some passport pics while travelling but embarrassingly i dont own a printer in Thailand so I'd have to go to a shop to print the form.

If you are in CM you can get one at Immigration at Central Festival.. assuming you have time before you go.. you have to be there in the morning (before 11am from memory) and it's a really fast process.. never crowded like the main office near the airport.. personally I'd never knowingly roll up at the airport without already having my re-entry permit done and dusted.. there may be a million to one chance of the desk at the airport being closed.. but that's still too much of a risk for me.. not to mention the added stress attached to it!

You still need a re-entry permit. The name "multi-entry" is a mis-translation.

After security, don’t go through the electronic passport gate, over to the right, there’s security guys, go see them, you can get your re-entry permit there.

Haven’t been through Swampy for a long time but I do remember seeing a post saying the re-entry desks had moved.

Perhaps I’m mis-remembering but maybe someone who’s travelled through there recently can confirm.

Don‘t you get the AI answer automatically on top if you ask google? It should be implemented.

Just ask an immigration officer before you go through the automated gates and they'll point you in the right direction.

it's officially at departure 2. But you can loop back around to get there from any exit.
