If I'm going to Laos, especially if it's to apply for a DTV visa, can I just go by bus? To get a visa on entry, they say one needs to have a return ticket already booked, and the same goes for the Thai embassy in Laos when applying for DTV.
My question: can this return ticket simply be a return bus ticket? Or does it necessarily have to be a plane ticket? And if so, please explain why. I need answers from people who have a clear answer from someone who knows, not someone who's just guessing and think they know.
In Phnom Penh, have a certificate from Muay Thai school, I'm heading to ho chi Minh for dtv. Can I cross by land , apply in ho chi Minh, flights are pretty spendy right now . I can't imagine it would matter? Thanks all.
I know there previously was a limit of 2 Border Crossings per calendar year for Visa Free entry, but since late last year, the new Gvt wanting to increased tourism numbers changed it to 4 per calendar year until further notice... Can anyone having recently had multiple border crossings ( by Land or Air) within the same calendar year share their experience with Immigration Officers when trying to re-enter Thailand.
DTV ISSUE: I am in Da Nang, they have said I still have a valid tourist visa, so I must wait until this expires and re-submit application. I have another month until it expires, has anyone had this response? Do I have to leave and come back to Vietnam in a month? re-upload all documents? pay again? Thanks!
Email reads "You still has valid TR visa. Please wait under the visa is expired and resend this application again"
Good day! I am here on a multi entry visa and my time to exit (60 days)and return is upon me. Is it advisable to use a company that takes you across border and back same day to get new visa stamp or take a flight out and return? What is the difference and is one option better than the other? Thanks in advance for any help in clearing this up!
I am in the middle of my first 180 days on my DTV visa. As I will be in Ranong area in the next month, I am thinking about going over the border at Ranong/Kawthaung and getting stamped in again. I know tourists are border-bouncing and getting visa-exempt entries at that border. I'm not sure if a DTV entry (with 180 day stamp) is also possible at Kawthaung: does anyone have experience with this?
