I would appreciate anyone sharing their experience working with the THAI VISA CENTER to obtain a non-o visa. I am presently in Thailand on my 30 day tourist extension. I do not want to fly all the way back to my home country (USA), but would be happy to fly to any S.E. Asia location that has a Thai embassy that will allow me to apply for a non-o. Thank you for any thoughts you care to share.

You can apply for a Non-O in any of the neighbouring countries, check the Embassy websites for their requirements [hint, if possible choose a country where you don't need a visa to enter if possible to keep costs down]
I understand that you need to have proof of residence in the country where you are (say Vietnam) to get a Thai Non immigrant o visa at a Thai embassy in that country. Do you know of a way a person flying in and out to achieve that?
I believe they were if it were part of a visa package with them, but it’s best to check with them as for the past few weeks things have been weird with banks.
