Hi all

Looking for some advice on how to register on line for a TM30 as a private house owner.

As the immigration office is a 1 hour drive away.

I have looked at the web page but It seems to be set up for business owners regarding documents required. (The house is in my girlfriend’s name.)

Any advice would be much appreciated. Thanks.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user seeks advice on registering online for a TM30 as a private house owner in Thailand, particularly since the immigration office is an hour away. Initial responses suggest uploading necessary documents such as the Thai ID and blue house book of the house owner. Some users provide a link to a user guide for the online registration process. However, there are conflicting experiences regarding whether online registration is accepted, with some suggesting in-person reporting is required. Users discuss the frequency of TM30 reporting based on travel and living situations, emphasizing the need to re-register after staying in temporary accommodations.

You should be able to file your tm30 online.. as far as I'm aware, it's only your first 90-day report that needs to be done in person.. just set up an account on the tm30 system and upload digital copies of your gf's blue book and Thai ID.. and you should be good to go.. it saves the documents so when you go back in to do another tm30 after traveling it's even easier 😉

You need to do a new tm30 every time you return from an overseas trip.. or if you live in temporary accomodation in country (ie. away from your 'normal' home) such as a hotel that registers your stay there on the tm30 system.. you must re-register yourself at your main residence when you return home.. the exception being if you stay with friends or family (in country) and they do not register you as staying at their address on the tm30 system.. in this instance your previous tm30 registration has not been overwritten.. so there's no need to update it when you go home 😉

I just came back from Ubon. My girlfriend went to see the immigration before I came over and they said I must report to them in person and we could not do it online.

He also said I have to do this each time. I was traveling on holiday visa

And after all that it still won't work 555. Wait until the upgrade on softer. They annouce the date yesterday. The system hasn't been working correctly as many people have states this month.
